Eligibility - Work Experience. Graduate in BE/B.Tech/B.com/BBA/B.Sc or any other. Should have at least 60% marks in X, XII, UG. The application form is made available on the website - SJIM. No improvement is needed in the admission process. A wide range of scholarships is offered for various students. You may check the college website for more details.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose HR and Finance as my specialization. SJIM has great and experienced faculty across all the domains. The faculty is very friendly, supportive, encouraging and the teaching style is different Every faculty has a minimum of 3-4 PG degrees and they come with a lot of experience. Some of them are alumni of IIM-B Exams are conducted for every term. SJIM follows the trimester system.
Internships Opportunities
Morgan Stanley - 50k per month, Goldman Sachs - Paid. PayU - Paid. Insplore. Wall street Advisory, Shriram Life Insurance, Growth Arrow, Outlook, Students must work for about 8 weeks during the internship and are expected to work with assigned faculties on their projects and provide a report or a research paper on their topic of interest.
Placement Experience
placements are 100% every year. Premium companies like all the big 4's, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, PayU, Hitachi, Yes bank, ICICI, Outplay, Grant Thorton, Bosch, Brilio, Socite General, TCS, Accenture, Moody's etc. All the domains get all types of employers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are around 8 Lakhs and increase by 20-30K every year. There are scholarships for candidates who have taken CAT/XAT/MAT. There are merit scholarships. there is also another name merit cum means scholarships for economically poor category students.
Campus Life
The campus provides a lot of facilities such as a library, computer labs, canteen, gym, TT room, sports room, wide class rooms, wifi, parking, finance club, HR club, operation & marketing club, E-cell, CSR club. SJIM conducts a lot of management fests and cultural events, Sports, celebrates every calendar event to give the best exposure to its studennnts.
Interview Experience
There was a written test for admission, GD, and Interview Work experience is also considered and given preference towards. Every candidate is assessed on their strengths and areas of improvement.
