College Review

Lot of regional groups within the college. Especially students from Kerala. If such regional groupism continues, the standard of the college will come down. First day of the college, seniors introduced this college as Mallu college despite this college being in Bangalore

Course curriculum is pretty good but could have strengthened their curriculum for Operations and Business analytics streams. Also could have emphasized more on technological related aspects which are needed for the industry instead of us focusing on the management aspect

Recently they have started providing internships to students as the number have students have been increased from 120 to 180. Overall experience is not that great because of the kind of profile they offer to the students. Except Morgan Stanley, all the other stipends fall below 10k per month.

Not great. Either we have to compromise on the profile or on the CTC. Highest CTC offered till date is 9.5 lakhs. Average is about 2.5 - 5 lakhs. I feel they need to really work on getting better companies

All the Catholic events are organised like Independence Day, Republic Day, Traditional day - Onam Celebration, College Management Fests - Pinnacle and Verve , Conclaves, Toastmaster events, International conference

Feasible for the facilities provided. Excellent professors, good infrastructure. Good library and also provide access to several paid data sites. But placements are really poor. Ultimately what's important is placement. Looking at the scenario of placements, the fee structure may not be feasible

Top 10% of the students ( general category) get 50k as the scholarship amount every year ( 2years). Remaining scholarship options can be availed by Catholic students. Low income students can also apply but there are a lot of criteria to get it

Yes, equal priority has been given to extra curricular activities. Recently college hosted basketball tournament for the undergraduate students. Also it hosted JPL which is the biggest sports event in the college which went on for 6 months

We don't have a college hostel as of now. It has been outsourced to other Catholic institutions. The food is not great. The ward is very strick. Unnecessary restrictions and strict timings hinders the college work and activities.

Can't comment on that because I have not been directly or indirectly effected by their presence. Not received any help personally. They might help the students provided it is recommended by the professors

Exam structure has been revised recently. Earlier we had two tests and a final exams. In between we have presentations and assignments. But now we have one exam ( mid term) and a final exam. Currently more emphasis is given for the assignments and presentations

Shortlisted through resume and outstanding academic performance and also through MAT score. We had a written exam to test our writing skills. Also it tested our logical and problem solving approach. We had a PI, to test our communication skills and also to test our knowledge about the current affairs

Faculty is excellent. Well versed in the subjects they teach. The biggest strength of this college is the faculty. Every domain has amazing faculty. Marketing, Hr and Finance have well qualified professors.
