Remarks

1. Admission process was totally online in 2020 due to covid. We have to fill out an application form then there was 7 cut offs for various colleges. There was no entrance for this course before 2022. No improvements because University decides about the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because hons seats were full at that time and I was getting into this course. The student and faculty ratio is 20:1. All professors are IIT jam qualified they had done. Their MSc from iits or du. There is a semester system for all courses at Delhi University. Each semester takes 6 months and there are 6 semesters in physical science with Chemistry.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee is nominal in Kirorimal college it is like 14 k_15k as it is a government college so fees is not so much in this college. There are various scholarships that our college provides for general, backward classes. The economical weaker section has special benefits also.

Campus Life

The annual fest is arranged every year in Kirorimal college. The library is very nice almost every book related to the courses are available in Library and you have a library card with you so you can issue any book from the library. The classes are like auditoriums and have a huge area for students to sit comfortably without any disturbance . Diversity is there in Kirorimal college as students from all states come here and students from foreign also come here. Delhi University is also famous for sports as it provides almost every sport and in courses also they have a special quota. In Kirorimal college, a lot of things are there for dance society also. Many societies are also there like inactus, NSS etc. Kirorimal NCC is the best in the whole of Delhi university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think my course was very best for those who have not decided their future plans. They want to explore more field of science not restricted to a particular field (as like me). It includes biochemistry,botany, zoology and physics chemistrynot (not so much). So it gives you number of opportunity to persued different field as your career in future.

Some real sides of Hansraj College

Placement Experience:

After completing the IV Semester, students become eligible to participate in Campus Placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and DeShaw visit campus every year and recruit students. The highest package offered for the Batch of 2023 is 21 LPA, and the Overall Average Package is around 4-5 LPA. But No. of Placements is less due to some factors, such as Companies being fewer the number of visits here, also the Majority of Students opt for a master's. CGPA should be more than 8, to sit in Placements. My Plan is to do a master's if I can't get the placements then Polish my skills to get a job in a reputed company in IT.

Remarks:

Entrance Preview:

I got admission in this college by cut off list that University of Delhi releases. I got 85.6% in 12th by which i managed to pass the cut off marks. I opt for this college after I heard about it by some of my elders that the science faculty of this collage is really very good.

KMC:Best memories of my college life

Through CUET,admission were taken in the college. The eligibility criteria includes- a bona fide student of CBSE/ICSE/State board and have to choose their domain subjects which were in their boards exam in class 12th. Different cutoffs were released for different categories. For General it was 750+ out of 800(this includes 3 domain subjects and one language paper) and for other categories it was less as compared to General category. I chose this college because of the allumis i heard who are passed out from here. The NIRF ranking was another reason i thought about this college. The college is prettt good, well upto my expectations, be it the campus, faculty or the crowd its good in every sense. The criteria for admission is to pass the CUET exam conducted by NTA. It deoends on the cut off if you can get into the college or not. Yes, i applied to a few other colleges which i wanted to get into like Hindu college, Hansraj College.
