Remarks

The admission process was very simple. All the required document lists will be provided by the college. I got admission through the common entrance exam (CET-KARNATAKA). If you have a rank of below 10000, you don't have to worry about getting admission. Overall the college staff will help u go through all the admission processes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently pursuing electrical and electronics engineering. NMAMIT is one of the reputed colleges in Mangalore. it is an autonomous college. The faculty-student ratio is balanced. There is no shortage of lecturers. Most of the lecturers have doctorate degrees. Exams are conducted on time, but due to the pandemic, there were few inconveniences.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 27000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As far as I know, the college doesn't provide internships. But the lecturers and staff will definitely help you if you're interested in doing an internship. For more info, you can visit the placement cell located on the ground floor of the old building.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are very good. This year our electrical and electronics branch got 100% placements. We get a average package of 5LPA. Highest package varies each year, it varies from 9LPA to 30LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Moderate fee for the courses. You can avail a lot of scholarships for non-government students. Maximum scholarship ranging upto 20,000 is obtained. Overall the major part of our fee is covered by the scholarship.

Campus Life

There are many facilities in our college. Huge library with a lot of good books .fully furnished gym and sports facility. There are various clubs where you can join and upgrade your skills. An annual fest named incident is conducted every year.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
