Remarks

We didn't have to take any entrance test, admission was based on 12th result, they took 1st 100 student from merit list, it was good experience, although I didn't qualify in 1st round of councilling, I got qualified in 2nd round. As my marks were not that high. Last person standing on the merit list who got selected in 1st round was 80%. We can get the admission releted details on colleges website.

Course Curriculum Overview

As we know Durgapur Government College is best college in Durgapur, The Faculty members of our class were highly educated, a total of 100 students were in my class and we got around 3-4 classes to study in a day, all classes were from different faculty members. We have to give semester wise exam as every 6 months.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees of Durgapur Government College is very low, Admission fees was around Rs. 1200-1300 , and examination fees was Rs. 300-400, and we can apply for swami Vivekanand scholarship. As our college expenses were not that high so we don't look for financial assistance or job on campus. But sometimes we did some social works.

Campus Life

Our campus had a huge field, where students played either soccer or Cricket. We had our freshers party after joining the college in August -September. as for our Library there had many kinds of book, I visited library just once.

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Placement Experience:

In our college generally students get placement before the last semester exam. Lot of companies visits our college and give many placement offer opportunities to the students. The highest package was 6 - 7 LPA and on average it generally ranging from 2 to 3 LPA. About 60 to 70 percent students gets a different types of offer from different companies who visited our college, my plan is also to get a good and a decent package from our College

The best college for professional course students

Placement Experience:

Various companies come to this college for on campus placement Average package= 1000000 Highest package=2200000 Various multi national company and other big and small companies visit this college for on campus placement. Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.
