Remarks
The eligibility of the course is to the college's own entrance exam and also through jee mains. The application form can be easily filled out through the college's website and it is free of cost, it is available from most of April to July. The admission process is conducted very nicely in both offline and online modes. Students are given the option to choose anyone according to their convictions. The passing percentage of the entrance exam is 60% and the criteria for getting admission in the course is both 60% in the entrance exam and 10th and 12th. The standard of the entrance exam is average so the student can easily score good marks by doing a little bit of hard work.
Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason for me choosing the course is computers as I liked it since my school days and also coding. The faculty here is very good and helpful. They are highly educated professors who make their students understand each and every concept easily with their excellent teaching methods. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40 or 2:80. So the students get opportunity to raise their questions to their teachers and their doubts are clear simultaneously by the teachers. The exams were conducted twice per semester which are the mid semester and semester exams. 60% of paper are set easy and the remaining 40% are set difficult so that students can at least get passing marks. So that average students can pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships to the students which helps them later on in their jobs and the roles in their internships are developer and software, engineer. The college also gives projects to the students which give them practical knowledge about their course. It helps them in getting good placements.
Placement Experience
The students of the 6th semester are eligible for campus selection and internships. Many good companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, and Google come to the campus for the selection of the students and make many good offers. The highest package offered here is 35 lakhs per annum and the average package goes from 7-8 lakhs per annum. Near about 95% of the students get campus placements. As I planned to do MBA or MTECH after my BTECH.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are moderate compared to other colleges. The cost of the study is affordable for a middle-class family student. The college provides scholarships depending on the marks scored by them in 10th and 12th. Many good companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Infosys come for placements and good jobs are offered to the students.
Campus Life
There are many clubs which organize fests and events every month. In which students can participate and show their skills in their perspective fields. The college has a huge library which offers students good books for their respective courses without any additional fees. They also contain journals and novels of famous authors all over the world. The classrooms are spacious with a centralized air conditioner. There are projectors too for a better understanding of the students. The clubs are run by students of 4th year and there are also sports events in which students can participate and win prizes.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is spacious and it provides Wi-Fi to the students staying in the hostel. The room contains four students with their respective beds, tables, and cupboards. Meal quality is average and the mesh provides different food for different days so the students do not get bored with the same food every day. The fee for the hostel is 12 thousand per annum and to be registered offline. The locality is very good and there are markets near so that they can get whatever they want.
