Student are selected based on their job experience, UG marks and CAT/MAT scores. The details of all the selection processes will be available on the college website. There will be a essay writing round and a personal interview round followed by an interview with director, after which students will be shortlisted. SJIM ensures that students are chosen from a diverse range of academic backgrounds.

Though its rigorous course, the college provides ample opportunities to learn and bond with some of the best minds in the world. Faculty on hand are among the best in their fields and ensures that students are industry ready. Curriculum is typically updated on a regular basis as per the industry norms.

Various companies from different domains visit SJIM and select students for Summer Internship. These include reputed companies like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Bosch etc. Students are expected to submit a project report based on the internship undertaken.

Because of the high quality of students and the effectiveness of the placement procedure, placements at SJIM have always been around 100%. We have top organisations as recruiters from various disciplines, including consulting, finance, marketing, operations and human resources. Last year alone, 98.5% of students were offered packages ranging from 5.5 to 22 lakhs, with 7 lakhs being the average. Students also received paid internships, with Morgan Stanley's offer of 50,000 being the highest.

The fees at SJIM are comparable to the other top B-Schools in the country and comes around 8,30,000 for two years. SJIM also provides scholarships and financial assistance to top meritorious students every year.

SJIM conduts fests named Verve and Pinnacle. SJIM also has great sports culture and other extracurricular opportunities. GD topics were generally based on current affairs and business related. Interview mainly focused on personality and general awareness. Candidates with previous work experience were also asked questions based on their domain of work.
