Remarks

NIT Kurukshetra institute really surprised me the college provides all types of modern facilities and the college properly justifies its ranking the college is ranked among the top 50 engineering colleges of India and is among the best college for B.Tech. I got admission into the college through the JOSAA counselling I took part in JOSAA counselling after passing my JEE exam. The admission process quite surprised me as everything was properly organised and all the formalities were just completed in few hours.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum follows all kinds of latest industrial regulations and the college curriculum is latest and up to date. The curriculum of the B.Tech program gives an opportunity to show our innovative skills and design ability through research work and project activity. The college faculty is very understanding they are aware of our weaknesses and guide us to overcome them. The faculty have completed their PhD degree from the top college of India and are among the top faculty of India. Guest faculty also visit our campus for guest lectures and share their experiences with us which help us to understand every engineering concepts and importance of fundamentals very strongly.

The college internship program is properly designed and we can also skip the internship if we want but only if we are involved in any kind of research activity. 45+ companies have visited our campus for internship programs. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k.

Placement Experience

The college is constantly working on improving its placement standards and the placement offer determines the efforts of the college as the highest placement package was around 43 LPA and the average salary offer was around 18 LPA which every good offer as a comparison to college fee and the college stature. Amazon, Honda, Nestle, Bharat Petroleum, Airtel, Pepsi, Paytm, Microsoft, Hero, Coca Cola, Goldman Sachs, Indian Oil, Flipkart are among the regular recruiters of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The biggest plus point of the college is its fees the college's complete fee is around 2.30 lakh for its B.Tech program and the average salary offer is around 18 LPA and the highest salary offer is around 43 LPA its show the quality of placement and the ROI is very good. The college also provides scholarships through Merit-cum-Means scholarships are offered to UG, Alumni Association Scholarship, Post-metric Scholarship and various national scholarships and central and state-funded scholarship schemes are also available.

Campus Life

The campus life of the college is very good. The college has all types of modern facilities. The campus has a WiFi facility. The college infra is very well managed and the campus is kept clean. The college classrooms are properly ventilated and a computer system is also available in the classroom which is connected to digital board. The college is descent but we can find all types of book related to engineering domain and latest international journals are also available.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and all kinds of facilities are available like 24 hours of WiFi, LAN cable connectivity in every room, 24 hours os water and power supply, indoor games facilities, common room with LCD TV. The hostel rooms are also fully furnished and available for triple, double and single accommodation. The hostel mess food quality is good and the food is healthy and nutritious. All in all the hostel is a good place to stay.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

Likes

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Likes

I liked the environment alot. The infrastructure is very good.
The food court is also very good and provide good food on affordable price.
I like the teachers alot they are very easygoing and friendly to communicate with.

Dislikes

I don't like the uniform system as they ask us to wear it daily.
There should be days atleast once a week where we can wear casuals in college.
The teachers are very strict about the study.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Genuine and Biased review

Likes

Wifi facility is available in hostels and in some classrooms
Teachers are quite good and they are very helpful

Dislikes

Placement are not good in dcrust one some some students get placed with maximum packed of 9 lakhs minimum 2.5 lakhs
Course curriculum is not updated they are not helpful in modern time.
Girls and boys ratio are not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

My college experience is very good.There are a lot of activities held in our college including fests whetger technical or cultural.Most of our memories made through these fests.They are the most important memorable days of our life.Beside the studies there are a lot of things which effect a lot.One must enjoy the beautiful moments of his College Life .

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
