NMAM Institute of Technology Review - Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Eligibility is through KCET, Management, COMED-K. Every year the cutoff varies for different sections. The reservation benefits are available through KCET. I got selected through KCET under the 3A reservation.

I chose the Electrical and Electronics B.E Program with my own interest in the concerned field. The faculty-student ratio is nearly 60:1. Our department provides great academic support. The faculty of our department are well qualified and very supportive. The term exams or semester exams are after every 6 months and the difficulty is variable with respect to your preparedness.

After the end of even semesters there is a good buffer time available early 2 months as vacations. This time is favourable for internships and the placement department as well as our subject department are very flexible and supportive with internships.

The students become eligible for placements right from the end of the 6th semester. Numerous good companies visit the college for placements. The highest package to date is near 40 LPA and the average package is around 6 LPA. Most of the students get placed and the placement does a good job in ensuring that this becomes a possibility. My plans after getting a degree are to join a good company for a job.

The fee hike is not much and it is in considerable range. There are various scholarship opportunities one could avail like SSP Scholarship, Shyamnoor Scholarship, Central Sector Scholarship, MHRD Scholarship, SC/ST Scholarship, etc.

The annual fest here is Incredia and it is generally conducted in mid-February. There are a good number of books available in the academic domain and tech journals in the library. The classrooms are well lit, ventilated with a reen board and whiteboard, projector, etc. There are many clubs pertaining to different interests in the college
