Good experience at SJIM

We will have to first apply to the college. We will be shortlisted based on marks, work experience and MAT/CAT scores. The students who have got shortlisted will be called for an interview. It will be a technical one. Post which, the selected students and parents will have an interview with the director. The application form can be found on the website. The application fee is Rs.1000. The dates will be available on the website as well. The existing admission process is smooth and all the details are communicated properly.

I chose the course because of its design and benefits. The college follows a trimester pattern and helps us in building our skills. The number of students in each class is 50-60. The total batch size is 180. Teachers are always available to provide their support and help. All the faculties hold PhDs from renowned colleges and they deliver the material with the highest quality and use various modes which makes it easy. The term exams will be done 3 times a year. It is easy to clear the papers with constant hard work and studies. The questions go beyond just book knowledge and are more application based.

The college will facilitate internship opportunities are part of the summer internship program. It will vary depending on the domains and come from various parts of the country. The college trains us for the same and teaches us how to conduct research as well.

The placements in college are really good. the placement % is approximately 98% every year. The average salary package is 7.5 Lakhs and the highest package offered is 22 Lakhs. The students are eligible for placements from the second year. The companies visited include KPMG, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, EY, Deloitte, etc. It offers a variety of companies from multiple domains. I plan on working after I complete my MBA.

The course costs 8L in total for both years. The college offers multiple scholarships in different categories. It will benefit the students. The fees are not hiked. The scholarships are of high value and they also provide fee concessions.

The campus life is very interesting and there is a balance between academics and fun. There are 2 fests which are conducted - Verve (Inter college) and Pinnacle (Intra College) which allows students to get a wide exposure. The college has a well - equipped library. The class rooms are spacious with comfortable seating. There are various conclaves and conferences which are held on a regular basis. The college organises a sports fest called JPL every year. It involves competitions in various sports. There are HR, Operations, Finance and Marketing clubs in addition to Photography, Cultural and E - Cell in college.
