IIIT Delhi Review

I wanted to opt for computer science with artificial intelligence as I feel AI is the future and there is lots of future scope in it and I applied for IIT Bombay and Hyderabad but seats were filled and later on came to know about IIIT Delhi. IIIT Delhi is ranked among the top engineering college of India and is also awarded the FICCI Higher Education Excellence Award in the category of Excellence in Faculty. So in my JOSAA counselling, I was able to secure a seat in IIIT Delhi and moved on with my admission process which was were smooth and totally hassle-free.

The curriculum of the college was also very good and up to the mark. The curriculum was up to date and it follows all the latest industrial guidelines and norms. The curriculum helps us to develop our analytical and problem-solving skills. The curriculum mostly focuses on coding and programing language. The faculty of the college is also very good and superb. The faculty properly understand our mindset and design the syllabus in a way that we are easily able to grab in all the concepts and fundamentals. The faculty is not only of PhD level but their experience and their teaching standards are unmatched. The faculty can easily break down the complex problem into simple easily understandable ways.

The internship program of the college is very good the internship is a very good opportunity for us the learn about the corporate world and to develop our coding skills more strong. We can take part in internships after completing the three years of our program. The internship is a paid internship with an average stipend of around 52k.

I was not having any doubts in terms of college placement as many of my batchmates received the pre-placement offers during the internship that determines the education standards of the college almost 25% of our batchmates receive pre-placement offers. The college was easily able to reach the record of 100% placements. The highest salary package reached 50 LPA and the average salary package was around 20 LPA.

The college complete course fee is around 16 lakh but which is really on the higher side but the placement packages and the education level of the college made this fee worth it. The college campus life is very vibrant and happening. Odyssey is the college cultural fest, Esya is the college tech fest. The college also organises the Dandiya night during the time Navratras. The college also celebrates Holi on the campus. The college library is the house of many national and international bestsellers authors' books from around the world. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. The labs are modern and all types of facilities are available in the college labs.

The hostel rooms are available on triple, double and single accommodation as per the individual budget. The hostel wardens are professional and the hostel staff is very well trained and the hostel decorum is properly maintained. The hostel mess food quality is very good and the food is very hygienic. The hostel also has 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel provides us with all kinds of facilities and ameneties.
