I took the entrance exam of the college named DSAT to which I successfully got admission. The minimum criteria were 50 percent in PCM( Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in 12th standard. The cutoff for the DSAT exam was 80 percent. The admission form will be available on the college's website that is dsu.edu.in and the fee for computer science engineering in this college is 248850rs which should be paid in full. There are no reservations in admission but if you are backward class then you sure get concession in fees. The admission process can be still improved by introducing one more hotline for queries about admission. Every detail of admission can be found on the college website which I mentioned earlier.

I chose the computer science engineering course because it's the best course for placements in the college. The faculty in the college is very good in all aspects. They are very qualified most of them are Ph.D. in their respective fields. There is almost a 1:25 student: teacher ratio. The professor's teaching skills are very good and effective. The terms exams were offline and were moderate to pass.

The internships are available from the 4th and 5th semesters. They offer a maximum of 20000rs and a minimum of 5000rs for internship work. The internship rate in our college is pretty awesome because almost every student gets an internship at the end of the semester. The companies offered here are Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more. They make you do an internship under the guidance of a professor so that he can help to do your project work simultaneously.

The students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester and for paid internships too. Many companies visit here like Accenture, cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL, and many more tech companies. Total offers made last year were 600 something. The highest salary gone was 42LPA and the average is 6LPA. The total percentage of students getting jobs is 70 to 80 percent. I plan to sit in the placements in my graduation year and work for a Multinational Company.

The college fees structure is very expensive. They could have reduced the fees a bit but it's okay as they are providing with good benefits of it. The fees of students who are from Karnataka state only have a fee of 105000rs against a student from any other state which is 248850rs. They provide scholarships to only those students who studied their 12th standard from Karnataka state only. You will be eligible to get a paid internship from the 6th semester and at the end of the 7th semester you will have a permanent job in your hand I am in the 4th semester so I don't have a job now but I am sure I will have one at the end of my graduation.

There are different clubs in the college which are mostly run by cooperation between senior students and professors. I am currently in a space club called Asteria which is one of the most important parts of the college. The college also runs other clubs like dance club, singing club, art club and many more.
