Remarks

The college is very good it has a very big college field and there are many social clubs it doesn't have a gym the teachers there are very friendly and they help a lot if u are having any problem with your studies and the college held. Tech fest

Course Curriculum Overview

The collegehas the best faculty and many students have 2 to 3 jobs in their pocket many students get their job from the internship they get from the college itself and the mentors are really helpful

Internships Opportunities

The companies mainly are Infosys Wipro cognizant and there are companies like Google Microsoft amazon that take fewer people. I intern but the stipend there is high compared to these companies and 50 percent of students get their jobs from the internship

Placement Experience

Manly the companies are the same in every college only the package varies about 10 to 15000 our college provides the lowest salary of 4lakh rupees and highest is 12 lakh rupees but many people got their job through the intern and they got jobs in google Microsoft. Etc and the percentage is 100percent

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has very fewer fees in comparison to other colleges in the same rank and the college is too huge in comparison to the locality it has a school in the front and then the college and the canteen is really cheap

Campus Life

The annual fee is 89000 and it increases 3000 after 1 year and it has tech fest and sports like football cricket table tennis and the college also held gaming fest and it is very good and it has many social clubs

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
