Remarks

I would say that my overall experience at NIT Papum Pare was good the college is located in a very beautiful location and the faculty is also very good. The college is located in my home town and I opted for the college because I was given a 100% tuition fee waiver because as per the guidelines of MHRD the college provides a 100% tuition fee waiver for SC reservations and I took admission in the SC reservation category. All in all the college is good and the college also provides good placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of the college is good and the curriculum is a mixture of the modern and traditional education systems. The curriculum provides us full information about the program from beginners level to advance level. The faulty is also good. The faculty are professional and some professors are highly experienced and their teaching methods are really simple and easy to understand technique.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship is part of the curriculum and the college placement and training cell is responsible for the internship program for us. We get an opportunity to work as an intern in companies like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon etc. internship is a good opportunity for us to understand the working environment of the professional world.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of the college is good. The placement and training committee plays a very important role during the placement round. The college has a record of 100% placement. During the placement process, the placement and training committee is fully responsible for the placement round as they guide us and support us during the college placement rounds. The highest package for our batch was around 18 LPA and the average package was approx 7.2 LPA. Capgemini, L&T Infotech, MacAfee, ValueLabs, Virtusa, Infosys, etc are the few companies that participated in the college placement round.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has a scholarship program and provides scholarships on a merit basis and as per the guidelines of MHRD college provides a 100% waiver in the tuition fee of SC. To get further information on the scholarship program one can visit the college's official website.

Campus Life

4

The campus is located in a very beautiful location surrounded by the hills and the view is very scenic. The annual cultural fest of the college is ATULYAM and ADDOVED is the technical fest of the college. The drawback is that the college is still under construction. The college library is full of many national and international books and the plus point is that we don't have to buy any sort of books because we can easily borrow the books from the college library.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is good. The rooms are available on double sharing and every room has its own individual balcony and the outside view from the balcony is really very good. The hostel mess food quality is good. The hostel warden and the staff are very hardworking and cooperative. The rooms have all the basic facilities like beds, study tables, and almirahs. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water and power supply. The hostel has all the basic and necessary facilities for us.

The course curriculum was good. But it should be better by including more practical and site visits for better learning. The exams were not that much difficult you can pass easily. Exam frequency was also good

The Electrical Engineering course curriculum is quite comprehensive, covering key areas like circuit analysis, electronics, and power systems, which has well-prepared me for real-world applications, although incorporating more hands-on projects and industry insights could further enhance its relevance.

The students of mechanical engineering had a higher percentage of jobs as compared to other branches. I will do M.Tech after my B.Tech.

From 7th semester, we are eligible for placements. I am from cse branch and most students of CSE get placed with a decent package. Let's see what happens with my batch as my batch has the most students as compared to other batches. Last year the placements were not so good due to recession. Other branches like mechanical, ece, civil too get companies. I don't know about electrical engineering. But we get good number of opportunities for cse.
