NIT Hamirpur Review

NIT Hamirpur is one of the top-ranking engineering colleges in India. NIT Hamirpur provides good placement records and the quality of education is also very good. I decided to take admission in NIT Hamirpur because the cutoff was also very low not like other NITs and IITs and an average person like me can also take part in such a good college and can take the benefits of a good education. After clearing my JEE I applied for JOSAA counseling and was able to secure my seat in NIT Hamirpur.

The curriculum of the college is very good CSE B.Tech is the flagship course of the college and the curriculum is also very good as per the industrial guidelines. The curriculum provides us with very good information and knowledge about the technological changes and the importance of coding in computer programming.

We can take part in the internship program of the college after registering our names with the placement committee of the college as the committee is responsible for the placement and the internship program of the college. The internship is a very good opportunity for us to understand the working environment of the professional world. The average stipend for the internship is around 45k but not every internship will be paid.

The college has a good placement committee with the help of the placement committee college can reach the record of 100% placement. The placement committee is very dedicated and the committee is fully responsible for all kinds of placement activities in the college. The placement committee fully works as the guiding force for us so that we can place in good company. The highest package for our batch was around 35 LPA and the average package was around 12 LPA. Around more than 75+ companies visited our campus for the placement round.

The average fee for the B.Tech program is around 5.84 lakh which is pretty good in comparison to many overrated engineering colleges of India. The placement packages are also very good. The college also provides scholarships on a merit basis. The campus is very good. Hill fair is the cultural fest of the college and Nimbus is the technical fest of the college. The college provides a good opportunity for research as the labs are modern and properly equipped with modern tools for research activity. The college library is full of lots of books from international bestseller authors. The college infrastructure is not only well maintained but the classrooms are also very well maintained and ventilated.

The hostel infrastructure is well maintained. The bathrooms are properly cleaned. The hostel gardens and the staff work very hard to keep the hostel decorum. The hostel mess food is good and the menu is very vast. The hostel provides 24 hours of WiFi around the hostel campus. The security of the hostel is also very good. The hostel has all kinds of basic and modern facilities as per our comfort.

The faculty is good. The faculty is of Ph.D. level and they also have good research experience from the top-notch universities of India and abroad. The faculty teaching methods are good and easy which helps us to understand the concepts easily.
