OEC- college worth every penny

The admission process was quite simple. Just needed to appear the counselling session of ojee. One can choose ojee marks or jee mains marks for appearing in counselling. Everything was done online. The eligibility of the mentioned course was passed 12th with physics, chemistry and math with an aggregate of 45% and overall percentage more than 60%. The application form of ojee and jee mains can be found in their respective websites. Application fees of both the exams are different. Then after the results, one have to apply for the counselling process in which you have to select different colleges and different courses of your choice in your preferred serial number. And then the choices have to be locked by visiting the ojee counselling nodal center. And once any college and course have been alloted one has to visit the respective college sites for document verification and payment of fees. All the other documents like anti ragging affidavit, course gap affidavit etc are required .

The term or semester exams were held very timely, like twice a year. And apart from semester two internal exams were also taken. The difficulty level if the exams were moderate and if anyone studies a little then they can pass easily.

Many opportunities were provided by the college for internships. I did an internship in a government organization. I learned a lot from it although no stipend was offered because it was a government organization.

The placements were quite good. Our major recruiter was TCS which gave placement to more than 170 students. Other companies visited were Royal infraconstru, TEGA, etc. Many core companies also came for placement. The average package was 3.3lac per annum and the highest was 10.5lac per annum. I decided to go forms after completing my course.

Some students took a scholarship from their respective state governments. And for financial assistance banks loan were provided easily. Many companies came for placements but mostly TCS was a major recruiter with a package of 3.5lacs annually.

There were many groups made by the students. Some of them were class groups, session groups etc. Many of the groups are still active and we all are still connected. Groups run by students are mostly on Facebook and Whatsapp so that everyone can connect easily.

The hostel rooms were very nice and clean with three sharing beds. It had water purifier, water cooler, 24hrs wifi and many more. The meal provided was ok, like one can survive eating that food. The registration process was quite easy and was super affordable also. Then the room i rented was inside the main city.
