Remarks

No more good companies visit the college. Teachers and staff always on strike. The management of OEC is so loose. The infrastructure is quite good. There is no canteen in the college so students facing any problems due to this.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college takes their exam with attention and nicely.no one can cheat in that exam. Because one exam hall consists of 3 well-qualified teachers. That's why I love that college. I want to teach students in that college in form of a teacher.

Placement Experience

Yes, the college provides internship facilities. But students have to pay the internship facility fee. It is not free. It does not provide any stipend. Many good companies visit the college. But in the past few years, the placement with the very high package is not taking place.

College Events

OEC Fest, Zazen and Zafire, Cricket tournament, Badminton, Football, Basketball, Robotics, Pubg competition, Loading competition. Many games like BFF big boss also played in the college. Many singing competition dance competition takes place in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

E-Kalyan is a good scholarship facility provided by our college. This government provide the ST/SC OBC students with 50 to 70% off in the college fee. The students of Jharkhand and Bihar students can only avail this form.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good. They are very helpful. They are very friendly. They guide us in many ways. They teach the juniors the discipline of the college. They also help in their studies. They treated us like their brother-sister.

Admission

By AIEEE I got admitted to this college. Many students also come through Orissa OJEE. 10 and 12th marks also play a vital role during the admission procedure. There is no college entrance exam. Students of all states can take admission here.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very good. But many good faculties left the college due to the daily strike. Because of this students are facing many problems in many subjects. Many old and experienced teachers are there in the college.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

This university has a higher rate in providing placement to the students.approximate eighty percentage of students getting campus.i had also got a campus in my final year.From the forth semester students gets a chance to sit in a campus test .There are lots of national and international companies visited to this university they give a lot of offer to the students.The average offer package by the companies are three lakhs a year.

OEC- college worth every penny

The admission process was quite simple. Just needed to appear the counselling session of ojee. One can choose ojee marks or jee mains marks for appearing in counselling. Everything was done online. The eligibility of the mentioned course was passed 12th with physics, chemistry and math with an aggregate of 45% and overall percentage more than 60%. The application form of ojee and jee mains can be found in their respective websites. Application fees of both the exams are different. Then after the results, one have to apply for the counselling process in which you have to select different colleges and different courses of your choice in your preferred serial number. And then the choices have to be locked by visiting the ojee counselling nodal center. And once any college and course have been alloted one has to visit the respective college sites for document verification and payment of fees. Condition of my college today

Placements are good untill last year this year it's impossible to tell whether the college will continue or not because the director Suprita Pattnaik takes the fees from the students from time to time but don't care about them after that even in the worst conditions like the just passed cyclone fani which almost destroyed the college she came the other day only to see what damage occured in the building and she didn't cared if the students are alive or dead...Read More
