Entrance Preview

I took the common entrance exam which is conducted in karnataka. I have scored the decent rank in the examl so that I could get the entry in the college. I opted this college because this college is a reputed college in karnataka with a good placement opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course was Information science and engineering. Computer science, information science,mechanical engineering,civil engineering,electrical engineering, bio technology, etc.

Internships Opportunities

The placement were good. Infosys, HP,wipro, intel, tata consultancy,EMC2, hdfc, vijaya bank, Quest, accenture,dell, collabera,emphosis, delphi, nissan, samsung.

Placement Experience

In our batch so many people got placed. In my memoriedsi think 300-400 placements. Infosys, HP,wipro, intel, accenture tata consultancy,EMC2 wree the main companies which hired many people.

College Events

We have celebrated so many festivals and events in the college like traditional day, rose day, anandotsava, sports day, musical evevning, ignite festival all these festivals wer encouraging the youth and also very much entertaining.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, As per my knowledge they did not offer any scholorship or any loan facility for the students. But i think that would be a plus point if that was supported in my college. The loan should be given to the students whose family income is less.

Campus Life

My opinion about campus life is one should not miss the campus life fun. My college campus life was very good. Hanging out with friends in the most memorable in my life. We get to meet so many people from different areas of the city and also state.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is very good in the college. Alumini students are invited to variuos event in the college like anandotsava, ignite festivals. This alumini network helps us to be intact with the college and its events and also it hepls us participate in the various events in the college in which we have persud the studies.

Faculty

Faculty was very good in the college. With very good and fluent english they taught very complex subjects in a understandable manner. Therotical and practical subjects were taught very well.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
