Applied through CMAT, 98.53 percentile there. Online availability of forms, admissions committee helps you if you have any difficulty in filling up the form. Application Fees is 3000 currently, may vary in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

Covid times initially made exams a little uncertain but for the rest of the times, we had all our exams on time along with the ppts and vivas and summer internship report. Everything was on time, even internal tests.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are ample, you may or may not land an opportunity with a stipend but you are more likely to get an internship from the institution. The placement committee is active and helps you as and when required.

Placement Experience

Good placement for our batch. Great companies for all domains like operations, finance, marketing, HR, and even Data Science come on campus. CTC was on the slightly low side this time around due to COVID but placements were quick.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little rigid, it can surely be improved upon, however, it is a highly sought degree and the infrastructure and professors are of utmost professionalism. I have enjoyed my time here as a student. You may or may not get an internship with a stipend, however, internship assistance is provided to all.

Campus Life

Campus life, whatever little I have experienced has been great. The library is world-class. Classrooms are adequate. Sports Infrastructure is just too good. Clubs like FORSE, Consultancy, and Interface are all great. Melange is the name of the festival that is held here.

Hostel Facilities

3 beds, LAN ports, chairs, tables, cupboards with sufficient space in boys hostel along with attached washroom. A meal in the mess is 4 times at 5k per month. Food is vegetarian and good. Hostel registration is online.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Interview Experience

Yes, we had Gd And Pi. GD topics were mostly around social and economic topics so one needs to brush up on them. PI was a friendly and calming interaction with the faculty. Topics were related to my education and job experience.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

KJ Somaiya - A lively campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

THE TRUTH ABOUT KJ SOMAYA

I applied for feweer Colleges but not in Mumbai this was the only college i applied in Mumbai outside Mumbai i applied in Chennai Delhi Bhopal etc but as my parents suggested not to go far away and stay here I got approval too from many of them but when they saw I got approval in kj they said it's nice get this college u can stay here , addmission process is like hetciccccc like I have no words it soo bad , 70% I might say to be eligible cutoff for these exams are not that much so you can be chill bro...Read More

I did apply for just one more college for safety as I was very sure of getting admission in KJ. I had heard a lot about KJ's HM so dreamt of it. I availed Gujarati quota for admission. The selection criterion includes cut-off cleared scores of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT, a GD-PI round, past academic records and work experience if any. For CAT and XAT, the cut-off is usually 80-85%ile; for GMAT, the cut-off is 550-600 and for CMAT it is 85-90%ile. The group discussion is case-based.
