Remarks
The Personal Interview Process focuses too much on Past Academics, by which I mean that they ask questions on our graduation fields. Instead, they should be asking us what is the reason we want to do an MBA and which particular branch we are interested in.
Course Curriculum Overview
Term examinations were conducted on a timely basis in spite of the ongoing pandemic conditions. The term examination was sometimes conducted in online mode and sometimes in offline mode depending on whether students were present at campus or not. It was relatively easy to clear the examination if we had studied lecture notes well.
Internships Opportunities
Various firms arrived at the campus for offering roles in Marketing, sales, finance, operations, IT management. Average stipend offered was around twenty thousand per month. Two month internships were provided by various lesson firms like Delloite, KPMG, Del Monte, etc.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from the Fourth trimester. 102 companies visited for 2020-22 batch and 100% placement rate was achieved. Good companies like Paytm, Amazon, DHL, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte USI, PWC, KPMG, Xiaomi, amongst others. Profiles offered were majorly in Sales and Marketing. average package was around 11 lacs. I would like to work in a Marketing role after MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is approximately fifteen lakhs for the whole two year program and financial assistance is provided to the Schedule caste/ scheduled Tribes , economically weaker sections and Other backward classes. Even general category students are for merit based scholarships. I got an internship with Outlook India Pvt . Ltd. Fee hike policy is not applicable to the current batch but increases in subsequent batches.
Campus Life
Annual Fest conducted is Called Malhar. it is conducted in the month of November or December. Library has an extensive collection of books. Classroom infrastructure could be made better. Hostel Pest control is needed on an urgent basis. Canteen has a mix of both Veg and non Veg good. Sports committee takes care of sports activities. there are various other committees like Disha commitee, Placement committee, academic committee, Cultural committee, industry relation committee,etc.
Hostel Facilities
Three students share a single room. Three beds and three study tables are provided in each room. Several pests/ insects in all rooms is a problem. Common toilets and bathrooms in every floor. Hostel fees is quite affordable. Mess provides decent food which is a mix of Veg and Non veg meals and students can eat any of them.
Interview Experience
Personal Interview only was conducted for the admission process. There were two panelists who were primarily asking questions related to my Undergraduate background and the reason why I wanted to do an MBA. Final Selection was done based on various parameters such as CAT score, PI score, Past Academic Record, Achievement, Work experience, Diversity,etc.
