IIT Indore Review

I was looking for a college with good research work and international programs as it gives us new learning opportunities. My manager recommended me IIT Indore as he is a pass-out from the college. After going through the college website I realized that the college has a good international student exchange program with the universities of North America, Europe, Asain Countries, and Australia. The college is also known globally for its research work, and the college placement is also good so it was a perfect fit for me. I have to pass the GATE exam and should have a minimum of 60% marks to be part of the college. After clearing the GATE exam I have to appear for COAP counseling.

The curriculum of the college is according to international industry standards. The college provides us with good opportunities for research and many international faculty visit the campus for guest lectures. The curriculum is designed to develop our analytical and decision-making skills and to develop our overall personality so that we can make our international presence.

We can participate in the internship program after completing the first year of M.Tech. The college placement committee is help full for us to look for companies for our internship program. The stipends depend according to the tenure and the company ranges from Rs. 25000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/-. Around 35 companies visited the campus for the internship program.

The college has a 100% placement record and the placement is according to the level of IITs in India. The college placement cell is cooperative and helpful and the proper guide us during the placement drive and make sure that we all are placed with good package offers. The highest package offer for our batch was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 20 LPA. Around 50+ companies visited the campus during the placement drive. I received the package of 25 LPA. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Arcesium, L&T, Analog Devices, Texas Instruments, Amazon, Barclays, Deloitte, Jaguar Land Rover, JIO, Tata Digital, Quantile Analytics, Microsoft, Google visited the campus during the college placement drive.

The college offer scholarship on a merit basis. Scholarship for SC/ST/PWD is also available. Scholarship from Samsung India is also available. The college provides us with an ample environment for studies. The college provides international and national research opportunities. The college infrastructure is well maintained. The college organizes the events like quiz competitions, debate competitions, and sports activities. The college library is full of lots of books from around the world and international journals. The classrooms are big and spacious. The college provides a WiFi facility around the campus.

The hostel is well maintained and the rooms of the hostel are big and spacious. The rooms are cleaned 4 times a week. The mess food is good and hygenic. The wardens and the staff of the hostel are very cooperative and friendly. The hostel provides 24 hours of high-speed WiFi facility. The hostel is equipped with all kinds of modern facilities for us.

The faculty of the college is good and highly professional. Most faculty of the college are of Ph.D. level and their research work is published in international journals. The faculty are masters in teaching their teaching methods are so interesting that we all are hooked in the class and every concept is cleared very easily.
