Remarks

The Course that I have enrolled for requires passing the Keam Exam with a minimum cutoff as per the exam. Application and all other Registration procedures are done through Keam Website. After which final registration is done at college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course Electronics and Communication that I have enrolled for is very much relevant in the present era. Each class is managed by two tutors and their respective subject faculty as well as lab faculty. The teachers are mostly M.Tech holders with many of them having PhD also.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students can avail themselves of internship opportunities from sem break after the 2nd semester. Many students got placement offers from the same company they got internships from, the companies give us projects to judge our skills depending on which selection is done.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th Semester onwards. Major companies that visit and provide job offers are TCS, Wipro, Suyati, and many leading core companies. I plan to get placed in a leading core company.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed myself of the scholarship provided by Keam along with 12th Marks. According to the Keam rank, I secured by combining my Keam exam and 12th Result marks. I got a fee hike of about 20%. Since it's a Self-financing college the fees are moderate.

Campus Life

Arts Fest Brahma, as well as Technical fest Aswamedha, is conducted every year. Digital classrooms with Air conditioning are provided. Further Libraries, canteen, coffee shop, Computer lab, circuit lab, Project lab are present.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is managed by the college. The meal is hygienic with lots of variety. Students can stay in single rooms or share with a person according to their needs. The locality is safe and peaceful and the college is within walking distance from the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
