Remarks

All information was published on the ggsipu site, regarding the entrance test syllabus, venue, even the scholarship. Details related to the course curriculum were also present on the website. Counselling was also done online after the entrance results were declared.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BCA as I had a deep interest in computer software and this course requirement was only maths which allowed me to choose it even after being from a commerce background. The number of Faculty are sufficient for students, in labs, there are usually 2 faculty per 30 students. Faculty are not too knowledgeable but sufficient. Exams were easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are very low, students are supposed to find them on their own or through Internshala. College does offer frequent training with technical things by partnering with 3rd party. It is compulsory for students to attend at least a single internship.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement after reaching 3 years. Deloitte, SAP, Wipro, Infosys are some of the companies that visit the campus. Around 40% of students got placed. I plan to pursue freelancing after I finish my bachelor's

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was initially around 85,000, but currently, it has reached the 1,00,000 mark. I did not opt for any campus job/internship, as I was able to land one on my own with the help of the college technical society.

Campus Life

Fests usually take place around nov-Jan period. The books availability is more than sufficient. The classroom has sufficient ventilation but no AC. College also has football, volleyball and cricket teams. Bitsplease, Google DSC are some of the best technical clubs run by students.

A decent college experience with room for improvment

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers most of the imortant subjects needed for our feild.It provides a good foundation and helps in understanding the basics clearly. many topics are for real world application can also help in further studies.However the curriculum could be improved by adding more practical sessions real projects and updated industry oriented content. Some subjects feel a bit theoritical so more hands on learning would make cource stronger. The exam schedule is manageable with internal external and internal assessments held at regular intervals. The difficulty level of exam is modrate and we students can perform well with study.Overall curriculam is decent but can become more comprehensive with few updates.

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

I applied for Maharaja Surajmal Institute as it's known as the SRCC of GGSIPU and it has the highest placement packages in comparison to any other Colleges of GGSIPU and it is ranked the top college of GGSIPU so I opted for admission here and no I didn't get rejected from any universities I got admitted to the one I wanted it's just that you require alot of patience and need to be active about the admission forms being out and all. To get admission in the BBA program at Maharaja Surajmal Institute, a student must have completed their 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks, with English as one of the core, elective, or functional subjects. Admission is primarily conducted through the IPU CET exam held by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. However, students can also be admitted through CUET if their name appears in the merit list and their rank is below 500. Based on the CET or CUET rank, candidates are called for counseling where seats are allotted.
