The college administrative staff is very friendly and the college is very popular for its education. I decided to be part of this college because when I visited the college the vibes attracted me and the placement records and the qualification of faculty made me choose Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore. The admission is based on the CAT/MAT/CMAT/GATE/GREXAT exam. The candidate must have 50% marks in 10+2+3 (degree program). The candidate can fill the application form from the official website of the college by paying Rs1000/- as an application fee.

The curriculum of the college is at par with any B-school in India. The curriculum is divided into 4 semesters and the first 2 semesters provides insight knowledge about the concepts of management and the last 2 semester focuses on practical knowledge by taking students to industrial visit and giving them insight into the working of the corporate world.

Companies like Honeywell, Cisco, Intel visit the campus for the internship programs. The college placement committee helps you out to select companies for internships according to your area of expertise or interest. The internship stipend depends on the company to company some will pay you a stipend and some will not. But the learning experience that we get during the internship process helps you out during the placement drive. I was lucky enough to receive a pre-placement offer after completing my internship.

The classrooms are equipped with all the modern facilities like a projector screen, computer, and recording equipment to record the lecture.

The rooms of the hostels are big spacious and quite simple but neat and clean. Rooms are cleaned every day. The hostel is well maintained and the warden and the hostel staff make sure that each and every room is properly cleaned. The food of the mess is good and healthy. The day starts with a South Indian breakfast which is very tasty.

The college is quite popular for its academic standards and all credit goes to the faculty of the college. The faculty of the college are of Ph.D. level and they are very professional. They are masters of their stream and they know how to blend traditional teaching methods with modern teaching methods. The faculty make sure that every concept is properly cleared and understood by the students.
