Remarks

Any 12th pass out with PCM and percentage as per the cut off is eligible. On the official website of Delhi University, we can find any type of information regarding the application. Reservation benefits include Fees concession, scholarships opportunities, sports for students with sports quota. It should include an integrated method of admission i.e. entrance test along with merit based admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose the course out of interest and for pursuing it in PG too. There were around 3 teachers per 15 students. Most of the faculty was having PhD degrees in particular subjects and was having really good teaching experience. Term exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level varies with subjects, overall it was average.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There were several internship opportunities in the college Such as inspire, DS Kothari etc which were very helpful for the students. There was no stipend internship with stipend in college but students can avail these opportunities with the help of faculty. Several projects in different fields such as 3D printing, optical science, nanotech were there.

Placement Experience

2

From semester 5th students are eligible for campus placements. Several companies came to college but I am not aware of the names of them and as most of the students were to pursue MSc further so very few offers were made. Not aware of the exact CTC and further details of offers. 10-20 maximum. I am preparing for UPSC.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fees were different for different categories. And it was quite affordable. There was an increase in fees with every year but the % increase was quite reasonable as we were provided with more learning apparatus and opportunities every passing year. I didn't applied for one as I was not eligible for it. And also I wanted to study further.

Campus Life

5

Tempest was the MH fest conducted in February every year. It was one of the best memory one can make in college. And there were society fests too in the same month. For say "Iridescence" was our physics society fest. MH library is one of the best on du campus with all kinds of books, magazines one might need in college. > several facilities such a boards (green and white both), comfortable sitting benches for students and projector and smart class appliances. And different labs for all the subjects. Sports friendly infrastructure was there in college. All sports equipment were available. There are many societies and groups run by students for all round development of students. For example drama society, photography society, departmental societies etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated and deep. It is almost equal to the btech course. Many papers are the same as the btech syllabus. Better than many other university syllabus. May be a little difficult to catch up if you come from any other streams. Also, they provide a generic elective subject which is helpful for the students to acquire the basics from other streams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was not sure about whether i should go for physics hons or computer science hons. I thought I should study both so that I can know in which subject I am interested . So this course helped me in that. Also if you are one who wants to pursue career in civil services this can be the one of the ideal courses for that, as it is not that much difficult to study as well you can prerpare for your other exams side by side.

you get eligible for placement in the third year and various companies approach you while you are in the third year provided you have a skillset. The highest package so far is of 25 lakh and the percentage of students getting placement is about 40 percent. My plans are also the same getting a placement and then seeing for further bigger opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest lies in Chemistry. So, I opted for it. The faculty of Dyal Singh College of Chemistry is good, some teachers are phenomenal but there are also some below-average teachers. In the last year, I had found good teachers. The curriculum is not so difficult, you just have to remain regular in classes. You can score good marks in Labs so it will be easier to pass the written exam. The exam happens in a 6-month cycle.
