Remarks

Any student who has cleared their 12th with any stream can apply for the course. All the details related to admissions and fees are available on the official site of Amity. Students who have scored more than 80% on the 12th board get scholarships. And overall the admission process is very easy. After applying students get a link to a microsite from where the further process can carry on.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Previously I've done deploma in hotel management and while working after that course I interacted with many foreign people and from there my intrest for learning a foreign language was born. Faculties at amity university are well qualified, ready to help always and also provide knowledge outside from the books. Faculties are friendly, sometimes you'll get amaze when they make you understand the most complicated things like a piece of cake. There are enough faculty members for the students. Exams always happen as per the schedule and to be very honest it is not very difficult to pass the exams if you have studied well.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I've done an internship on an education platform named Eduindex as a content writer with a stipend of 15k plus incentives. The job profile was of a content writer in which I have to upload two articles daily.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for placements from 5th sem and many companies such as Google, Amazon, Times of India, Accenture have visited for campus placement. The highest package ever offered is between 7-8 LPA and the average is 3-4 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed is 100%.

Fees and Financial Aid

I found the fee structure a little bit expensive while the education provided is worth it. There are many scholarships offered by the University to study in foreign and also if any student scores more than 9 SGPA, they are eligible for scholarship for the next semester. The fee for 1st year is 66k and 2nd year is 70k and for final year it is 74k. I've not applied for any placement because I want to go to Spain after graduation.

Campus Life

4.5

One can see fest every week in Amity but the main events are Amifest, Sangathan, Innovation Day and Korean day are celebrated every year on specific dates. Students can get every book required both in physical and software form from the library. Sangathy is a sports week that happens every year with various sports events. Udaan is one of the NGOs run by students.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity School of Languages | B.A(hons) Spanish

I've applied in Jawaharlal Nehru University but unfortunately not get selected there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
