Remarks

First of all one have must given the wbjee exam or jee main exam for taking admission in this college. One must find wbjee exam form on wbjee board website & nta jee main website for filling up the form. There is also reservation available for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen computer science Engineering because in the 21st century everything is digital so we must know about the computers & its language. There are approx. 45-46 teachers in the college. All the teachers are good and have highest qualification.

Class Size: 400Course Fees: INR 78350 per year

Placement Experience

In campus highest placement is 12 LPA although off campus highest placement is 20 LPA. From 7th semester you are eligible for placements. The companies visited here are CONGIZANT ,tcs ,Infosys, wipro etc. 85-90% students got placed in various company. My plan after getting the degree is for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is in 1st semester is 78350. 2nd semester 63000 3rd sem 49250 4th sem 49250 5th sem 47000 6th sem 47000 7th sem 49950 & in 8th sem also 499950. In our college all type of scholarship available so one can also avail these scholarship or stipend for their eligibility.

Campus Life

Every year tech is going to held in the month of march. In our college library there is more than 50 thousand books available there so one can easily get the needed book. Lab classes are very good. Our college organizes many sports events and extra curriculum activities so one can also participates in these There are many clubs like auto bit & hack it on club in the college.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements.
