Remarks

Good: Great NIRF rank(under 50), Great Campus, Proximity to Captial, College administration putting efforts to improve the quality of offerings, Flexible proagrams, strong alumni network etc.Bad: Departments don't put effort in implementing new ideas by the administration, Placement took a hit this year as Placement support from campus office is really bad and the student comittee alone pushes the placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is now upgraded to cater the current requirement with department specific subjects starting from first year itself. The issue remains that with lack of effort from the department itself. Although, if one is interested in learning, he/she can definitely walk up to any professor and work on projects that they may want.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship is optional. You can always choose to work on something in house during 6 months if you do not wish to work for any company.

Placement Experience

Students start appearing for internship opportunites on campus as the college allows a 6 months internship in 6th Semester. All major companies participate in this drive. Stipend as high as 1 lakh was offered in 2019. The same company would offer you a pre placement offer with a hefty package. If not, you can sit in the on campus placement drive that starts in 7th semester. Highest packages are 40 lpa +

Fee Structure And Facilities

Standard fee structure as for any NIT, Gen category pays 75K per semester, Rest 33K or less.Various scholarships available with Alumni pitching in for them.Companies do visit the campus with prominent ones being Adobe, Microsoft, Goldman, Amazon , Flipkart. Now, Google is also starting to visit the campus.

Campus Life

Many clubs, societies, informal groups, exists for all sorts of topics. Classes are air conditioned, No need to buy books as you will be issued all the required book every semester for 6 months. Really strong sports teams and a special mention to SAE that builds formula cars on campus (They have been winners of alot of tournaments)

A good JEE mains rank would suffice. A word of advice, don't take any course other than CS,IT,ECE if your goal is to get a good job. For the ones interested in other fields, feel free to choose any stream

Our college is the best option if you can't get good IITs or NITs and the research culture is excellent.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is excellent which is responsibly managed by the Head of the Department. Almost 95% of the students got placed with decent salary packages in MNC ranges between 8-9 LPA. For cooperatives and milk plants, the salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are Nestle, Mother Dairy, Verka, Tetrapak, GSK, Amul, DuPont etc. You can also apply for prestigious DDO i.e. Dairy Development Officer roles and other job internships.

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance.
