Remarks

Among new IIIT only very few has campus of their own, IIITG is one of them and the curriculum is also quite good and the placements are also decent. It is ranked No 1 among IIIT's in NIRF ranking and tge director of the institute is a very renowned person Mr Gautam Barua.

Course Curriculum Overview

At my rank i got ece and if someone want to see from placements perspective i would say cse is better but the curriculum and teaching standards are good in both branches. The curriculum followed is quite brilliant and the overall facilities are ok.

The placements scenario of cse is good but not soo good for ece, webs ite has all the details for placements statistics. Top recruitments are from tekion, samsung, reliance jio, topper and so on and mostly software companies come to campus, and very less ece companies come to visit our campus

Campus Life

There are a variety of clubs, and there is one annual fest called yuvaan which takes place in the month of march. The details of the clubs can be seen on website and there are some utilities for sports too. There is a football ground, a cricket ground and practice net, volley ball , TT , carrom and chess

The admissions are purely based on JEE mains rank, there is no such thing as interview which you have to give. Only for spot round you have to apply seperately and in that too there is no interview, just you jee mains rank matters

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Just lecture, ppt presentation maths (math is mean what the.), give notes from internet. Science department is good. But for others just see another college otherwise you'll regret. Drastic improvement is need. I don't like it at all. I'll say it is mid. It is ok as i said before.

Digboi Colege: One' Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed Physics department as I liked physics more than other subjects in Higher Secondary. Also in this college, Physics department is one of the finest departments with proper equipments available that are required for practical educations. They teach some real world applications as it is Physics department, they teach about how to use some scientific equipments, also some electrical equipments and how to deal with them also when in case of errors.

Review of the college in north east

This college has a good curriculum and also great for going to research side I preferred this over the others I applied because the others had no permanent campus and were very far from home moreover some do not have good research programs .I preferred this college over IIIT pune IIIT kota and vit which gave me a confirmed admission.i got rejected from a few colleges like mnit allahabad IIIT lucknow and IIIT Allahabad because I did not reach its cut off ranks .the admission process is quite simple in my college it is done through jossa councelling of jee .u can get admission through jee mains it is the most preferred exam by the students and for cse branch u have to get above 20000 rank and for ece above 430000 this is for general male...Read More
