I have chosen this institute because it is a government college which is built better than most of the private institutes. In addition to this, it attracts students from nearby cities like Fazilka, Abohar and Muktsar. The placement of students in companies is base on their on skills and effort. College does not much effort into that. Candidate must give JEE exam in order to get admission in any technical College or university. The reason for choosing this course was that information technology is opening its windows in every field day by day and having knowledge of such stream will help me in having a bright future. There are 40 students in the class attentending the lecture. MIMIT teachers are mostly post graduates and PHD holders. The B.tech course contains learning of 5 to 6 subject every semester. In which three tests are conducted for each subject during the semester. Student's marks in this tests decide the assessment score of a particular student. In addition to it, final exam are held after completion of classes in a semester. Moreover there are assignments of each subject. Overall it include three tests, three assignment and one final exam per subject. There are more than 34 subjects during course to be learned.

Omninos solutions (Mohali) have offered internship with my role to be Android developer with my stipend to be around 5 thousand per month. My project was a application of a Malaysian hospital where patients can directly book their appointment with the specific doctor through this application. It is live on playstore with the name IJN.

Students are eligible for placement after 7th semester. Companies which came for placement were skyway solutions, omninos solutions etc. There are very less placements drives offered by the college. There were only 3 to 4 small scale companies which came for hiring in this college which have offered maximum package of 2,16,000 per year.

Fee Structure is paying 42 thousand rupees after each semester. One can avail scholarship by having a quota or can apply for fee-waiver scheme. After completion of the course student can have job according to his talent but the average package offered to fresher by companies are 12 to 15 thousand per month.

Student can enjoy many extra activities during the course. There are many dance competitions and annual meets held during students time span in the course. It also help students to find their hidden talents. There are many books available in the library for students regarding their interest and course. Student even have no need to buy their books related to the courses. It is also available in the library for free. But one must have to re-issue that book again from library afyer one moth or there will be fine. There are many students who work on different projects such as robotics etc. You can also find bloggers around you in the college.

Hostel have wifi facility, drinking water, sleeping accomodation. Student can have 2 bed or 4 bed room according to his need. Hostel food was fine. There are always rice along with Chapati. Students have a mess committee which direclty interferes with what is cooked and what must be cooked. Hostel food cost depend on number of students living in the hostel. Monthly food bill is around 2000 to 3000 rupees whereas living charges in hostel are 15000 per year.

According to me there was no Gd or written examination for enrollment. Student can submit his academics and jee scores to specific staff, who are cery happy yo help new students in their admission process. Finally, after you eubmit your admission fees, your enrollment is done.
