Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa is one of the best institute to pursue Hotel management course in India. It is always top in rankings, student exchange programmes, placement and have state of the art infrastructure facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The post graduation in Hospitality administration is good in career advancements. So I choose for this course. The faculties are experienced and good in teaching. The exams are semester wise conducted.

Class Size: 81Course Fees: INR 231700 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are 100 %. DUSIT, Cafe Coffee Day, ITC, Reliance Industries, Cinepolis, Dominos, Dusit, Fortune Park, Godrej NatureÕs Basket etc are some popular recruiters. Per month INR 50 K was the top salary offer in 2021 placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

INR 231700 is the fees for 2 years. The fees can be paid in 4 installments. The fees are subjected to revision. The student exchange programmes are providing good international exposures and internships also.

Since it is open learning university..they couldn't give us time.. because the class also got started 1 month before exam...and teachers had to finish...the syllabus. But they don't really care about us. And syllabus I think is okay .. in Commerce. It is updated.

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Placement Experience:

There was no such provision of jobs or fixed placements however there was a placement cell which was quite active and hence there were opportunities for placements by contacting the cell and placement fairs were also organised that were open for all, but not many opportunities were given. The companies that took candidates were economic times, TOI etc paying a very basic fresher stipend of 10-15k. Very few students actually got to know about these placement drives hence the placements weren't great also not many companies came on campus.

The good the bad and the in between of ihm Pusa

I didn't apply for any college but during my admission process I locked two colleges ihm Pusa as first Choice and aihm chandigarh as second choice and in the first round of counselling I got ihm Pusa and I was very glad as it was my dream college. For getting admission in this college you must have passed class 12th with 50% marks form any stream and age limit is 25 years. Nchmjee exam is conducted by nchmct Noida you have to appear for that and have to secure a decent rank in that. Today 500 rank is good to get the college and reservation is also given to ews sc st candidates....Read More
