- The hostel infrastructure is a little bit to the old time hostel system..Very less AC rooms with very strict rules and regulations
- Some irrelevant rules with provides problems to students rather than help.

Course Curriculum Overview
My decision to choose this course only and only goes to my dream of becoming a successful chef globally and this course of this college proved to be the perfect for this reason. The curriculum till now has been preparing the students well and with very detailed explanations. 4 exams per year - 2 mid semester exams and 2 end semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
The Oberoi, Accor, Indian accent , Hiltons , Hyatt, Reliance ,Marriot ,Taj ,ITC etc. Proper building of the CV or resume with proper and fluent communication, proper grooming and adequate knowledge about and outside your field of study . During internal assessment , events and competitions are also conducted in order to understand the candidate more properlym
Placement Experience
During 3rd and 4th semesters , the candidates are eligible for campus placement in Industrial Training programme where a five months training programme is conducted by respective 5 star hotels to increase the experience of the candidate . And candidates are eligible for Management Training programmes only after or during 6th semester. Taj , Oberoi , Accord, Raddison etc. The percentage selection for management training programmes is 15-20 % students in Third year. My plans would be to build my career , gain experience and keep improving my career resume in order to become a successful chef with global restaurants.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees for one year is 80000. 2nd and 3rd year consists of 75000 each. The fees for all categories whether general, sc, st etc are same throughout all years. The college doesn't provide with any scholarships and anything related to that.
Campus Life
The college has a vast library with different types and varieties of book ..It has books of different subjects , fields and hospitality aspects for the students. The classroom infrastructure is decent . The classrooms don't have an AC for comfort. And is also doesn't have large projectors also...The classroom has a TV for presentation of ppts and PDFs by the teacher or any student . The campus have a basketball court , a volleyball court and badminton court also..An experienced sir has also been assigned for volleyball who prepares 1st year hostellers for annual Volleyball competitions. There many clubs in which the students can keep theme engaged throughout all the 3 years.
Hostel Facilities
As of boys hostel , there are 6 three sleeper rooms and 7 AC rooms in all the 4 floors. So in total , the boys hostel can accommodate 96 students in all..The eligibility criteria of a student is completely based on the merit of exam The infrastructure is very basic having basic essentials facilities in all . The washroom don't have any shower facilities and provides Indian style washrooms. The meal is also decent with good to moderate taste. Sometimes , there are more problems with the foods such as raw or undercooked items. The hostel are only available for 1 year for boys and 3 years for girls.
Admission
I applied for IHM Aurangabad , Manipal Institute WGSHA and IIHM also and got admission in each and every institute but IHM Pusa being the Number one college for Hospitality and Culinary Administration proved to be my choice for admission. Bi I hadn't got any rejection from any of the colleges I applied for. To get into IHM Pusa , NCHMCT conducts a Joint Entrance Exam where you need to get a rank above 400 for general category.
Faculty
The faculty is excellent with plenty of experience and good teaching skills..They are very well versed with how to handle student's problems and their doubts.. Teacher to students ratio is 1:60. Mr. Vineet Sheemar sir , excellent teacher of food production subject. I like this teacher due to his practical knowledge and how he teaches the procedurea to the students. There are 4 exams in a year in which 2 have easy to moderate difficulty and 2 have moderate to hard difficulty.
