Remarks

Reputed College/ Infrastructure/ word of mouth/ Simplicity . RNSIT was the best college that I could get into according to my number that I scored in the COMED-K exam. Moreover, before the councelling, had gone through the Ranking of the college in the magazine "CAREER 360".

Course Curriculum Overview

N. Shridhar, an electrical teacher was quite good. The course was more of theoretical than practical, had to 2-3 industrial visits. The course should have been more practical rather than consisting of theories !

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement officer was quite in touch with the HR's of the reputed companies like Infosys, Robert Bosch, Wipro etc. So many companies used to visit the college for campus recruitment. Moreover, every final year student used to get the notifications of the emails from the Placement cell for the Pool Campus recruitment happening (if any) in other nearby colleges !

College Events

4

Cultural events, college fests, hostel fests happened from time to time ! And people used to take part in the events ! I myself was the part of the signing groups many a times in the college as well as hostel fests The fests which were conducted by the MBA students used to be a grand event ! Events like Robotics meet also used to happen !

Campus Life

The college had everything but just for showcasing, they didn't let us play in the Grassy Ground, had WiFi in the hostel which never ever got connected to the devices and even if it did the net speed was pathetic ! Everything related to studies was upto the mark ( lab equipments / books in the library ), at a time around 150 students could have been there in the library !

Hostel Facilities

I was always there in the College hostel ! Hostel fee was around 50000 per semester and was triple sharing room ! People used to opt for flats or single rooms instead of PG's and the same used to cost around 10000 - 12000

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are very nice since it is an autonomous college the courses have been designed to provide the students with knowledge of the latest technology and the need of the hour. Although the new subjects becomes a little difficult to understand sometimes at the end it's going to benefit us itself .

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
