Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh is one of the reputed institutes for MD in India. MD students at PGIMER get lot of chances to interact at higher level of academics. MBBS degree or its equivalent qualification is the eligibility criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for MD contains huge work load and learning procedures. The institute organises various Seminars, presentations that are are unique to PGIMER. The faculties are experienced ones.
Placement Experience
Placements are good and students get placed in reputed hospitals and research institutions. The placement report 2020 , 43 students are eligible for placements. Some of them goes for further higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
INR 7110 is the fees for MD programme. There is good work environment, academics and the pay are decent too. There is no scholarships available for the MD programme. Financial assistances for deserving students are given from the institute.
Campus Life
The life at PGIMER is so memorable and experience rich. Each and every moment that I spent there was a lesson for me. The interaction between the peers, seniors, teachers are very much useful for my career.
