Entrance Preview

I took CENTEC Entrance exam conducted by pondicherry govt. I scored around 75+ and got merit sheet in wireless communication.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, They are providing internship for M.tech students and Ph.d scholars,

Placement Experience

Most of the peoples got placed in CTS, TCS, etc. 90% of the people will get the placement through on campus.

College Events

PEC conducting more seminars on latest topics like robotics, Wireless sensors, IT securities etc etc. Inter college conferences will conduct in international levels and providing certificates for all participants.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, College inside Canara bank is there. They are providing educational loans for who scored good marks in academics from schooling. Meanwhile we can get loan easily from outside also.

Faculty

Faculty's are very talented and more experienced. Most of them are doctors and more than 15 years of experience. Subject knowledge is in depth and they have done resecrches on same subject.

Placement Experience:

Students gets eligible at final year which is 7th semester. So many companies are came for placements like ABB, L&T, TCS. the average package will be Rs.600000 per annum. The 75% students got placed. I have planned to go for core company interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good. But in some cases labs are not that well equipped, which is a key backlog for student's academic activity. In many depts,lab facilities are compromised.in my course,lab equipment is less and if they have, they're bought by faculty's project money. So which is not a common thing to use by all stakeholders.

It is most reputed Institute. It will add worth to our career. We can have many career optins. Infrastructure is also good when compared to new NIT's. Faculty is also experienced and helpful. It will provide good placement options. We can do research also. We can get support from doing research.

sports day. But not good coaches and ground facility.. I have been palced in tata consultancy service. But the road to guidance is poor. Students themself should wrk hard to get a job in campus placement. My frds didnt get job. In pg i am the one with job

About the pondicherry engineering college

Remarks:

Very good college among pondicherry, it is place top 100 rank in india, but there is no govt job exams preparation, the faculty having internal politics it will reduce the growth of the college
