Remarks

Very good college among pondicherry, it is place top 100 rank in india, but there is no govt job exams preparation, the faculty having internal politics it will reduce the growth of the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Best in pondicherry. Advanced subjects may be include, but the students involvement was unbelievable for the academic and placements

Placement Experience

No there is internships arranged for mtech. The students only arranged the placements internships etc., The faculty are not helping the students to do any work students talent only the reasons to come the placements in PEC

College Events

Pecofes one of the famous cultural event in pondicherry for the engineering collges. It is the platform to show their talents to the various institution. And also they conducting various programs like seminar workshops and other events

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ya it is feasible before 3 years after autonomous the fees is increased doubled. It is not suit for poor family student. The government also not seen the fees problem.

Campus Life

Ya very good, they conducting sports activity 2 weeks departmentwise, they conducting departmentwise so lots of problem create between the departments. Last time also one problem civil boys and e and i boys were fighting and it gone up to police case

Written the entrance exam, after i got 10 place in that exam. After that counselling has been arranged and i got seat in m.tech(ece). And it could be easy process nice one

Faculty

Very knowledgeable and talentable persons. Especially E.S sir he is the real example of teacher and mentor no one replaced after his retirement

Placement Experience:

Students gets eligible at final year which is 7th semester. So many companies are came for placements like ABB, L&T, TCS. the average package will be Rs.600000 per annum. The 75% students got placed. I have planned to go for core company interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is good. But in some cases labs are not that well equipped, which is a key backlog for student's academic activity. In many depts,lab facilities are compromised.in my course,lab equipment is less and if they have, they're bought by faculty's project money. So which is not a common thing to use by all stakeholders.

I got into SMVEC First, after a month later, i got into my current college PTU in which everything was better than SMVEC, SMVEC is a lot more like a school, while PTU is more like a college where the staffs dont consider about any rules, but they be on time and perfect when it comes to studies.
