G NAGARAJU's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Kurukshetra

Graduate aptitude test in engineering, taken in 2014. It is test which is famous for doing m-tech in iits and nits.

National institute of technology kurukshetra is a centrally funded technical institute, where the facilities are very good and the academic curriculum was up to date, according to the recent trends. The pattern of teaching and conducting practicals was good.

After getting rank in the graduate aptitude test in engineering if we got seat in any centrally funded technical institute a stipend amount of 12,400 per month is awarded for each student. And merit scholarships are awarded.

The campus placement record of national institute of technology kurukshetra is average software company are coming in large number. But for electrical and civil and mechanical students getting job is some what difficult. But knowledge can be achieved a lot.

The international techno-cultural fest was an amalgamation of art culture and talent of hundred of students across the nation. The highlights of the fest included managerial events, technical events, cultural events, informal events, literary events and mega events.

The Institute has six boys and two girls hostels. Five boys hostels with a capacity of 250 each are for B.Tech students and one 150 seater post graduate hostel accommodates M.Tech. students and research scholars. Three of the five boys’ hostels for undergraduate students have triple seater rooms whereas the remaining two are single seaters. All the rooms in Post-graduate hostel are single seaters.

The pattern of exams was cool and lot of freedom a student can get from the college. Per single semester at internal exams will be conducted best of two will be considered for internal marks and external exam will be conducted per semester. Overall exam pattern is good.

After getting rank in the graduate aptitude test in engineering , i attended the common admission counseling process. And i got allotment in nit kurukshetra. The admission counseling process is done by cmmt. Those who qualified in the gate can participate in this counseling process.
