CURAJ is an A grade university from which students want to study a research program. Atmospheric Sciences gives them enough knowledge to know about particular climate change.
Course Curriculum Overview
This doctoral degree in meteorology is about 5 to 6 years duration. It gives the students knowledge about the features of the atmosphere including weather, climate and climate change. In the first two years, core courses are taught and after the success of the competitive exam, the subject span leads towards the dissertation.
Placement Experience
The training and placement cell of CURAJ always try to do its best for its students. Maximum placement is offered in the final year of the course. Students get many off campus placements. TCS, Genpact, ICICI Bank, Wipro etc are among the top recruiter's list.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In the first semester, the tuition fee is charged as Rs 20,415. In the second, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th semesters it is taken as Rs 3,640 and in the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th semesters it is taken as Rs 5,940.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a single girl child scholarship as Rs 2,000 per month. Post matric scholarship for SC/ST students and non GRF Ph.D scholarship for Rs 8,000 per month are given from this college. Postgraduate benefit scholarship of Rs 2000 per month is given by UGC to the rank holders of UG level students.
Campus Life
There are 32000 international and online journals with a special bound volume of 523. Students welfare clubs, guidance cells, medical facility etc make the campus acceptable to the students.
Hostel Facilities
There are boys and girls hostels with high security, water and electricity services. Other amenities like an AC room, football court, etc are visible in the hostel compound.
Admission
For PhD course, an MSc degree with 55% marks is needed. Students have to score the same in their UG degree also. All the applicants go through the CUCET exam for the course.
Faculty
The Institute's faculty has enough knowledge to prepare the students for industry. They maintain a jolly environment in the classroom.
