PU - College Review

The whole admission process was online we were asked to submit all the documents on jac Chandigarh website. An application fee of 2500 was charged and once the seat was allotted an initial deposit of 40k was asked for participating in further rounds. There is a reservation available but for obc its just 5%. The cut-off for the general category for the last round was about 72k in jee main.

The prime reason why I chose it was that it has the best placement record in the chemical branch. With very good faculty having earned degrees from Korea and abroad. Till now we only had online classes but their teaching way was good. Exams are conducted on time and they are easy to score more than 8 cgpa.

College provides internship in 3rd year with national fertilizer limited but for other opportunities, you have to look for yourself. Some of our seniors are doing internships in ongc iocl. So it depends upon you.

The placements are good to last year 95% of students were placed with 5.5 CTC. And all top companies like exon, uop, bhectel, reliance, cairen come for placement. We have a very good alum network that helps colleges to get placement for students.

It's the best college in terms of ROI its fee is just 22085 per year. And if you apply for the scholarship on a merit base then 11k will be refunded. In terms of fees, you won't find any other college with such a good placement.

There are many clubs and societies in which one can improve his/her soft skills and do volunteering work. We have an annual fest cynide. For infrastructure it lags far behind you will have the basic facility but don't expect much. But if you ask about the whole pu campus it's best I mean spread across 550 acres. It's a lush green campus with all facilities for sports. And student center for just chilling out with friends.
