I have applied through Jac Chandigarh after I received my JEE Mains score. We can find all details of admission on the website of Jac Chandigarh i.e. chdenggadmissions.in Then after applying 4 rounds of counselling were there including spot round. I got my seat in 2nd round of counselling. Admission process was smooth and student friendly.

I wanted to study chemical engineering as this branch is evergreen branch. One cannot start his day without using any chemical from toothpaste to night cream everything is produced by chemical engineers. Faculty is great at college well qualified with many research publications as well. Exams are but difficult to pass as they test our core knowledge about subjects.

Placements are good but due to COVID, fewer companies are coming to campus. We can pursue masters degree after the bachelor's degree completion. Some students are placed with good packages, others either clear CAT exam or Gate exam and pursue masters degree further.

Fees is pretty low as compared to other engineering colleges. The fee is only Rs. 18500/year which is very low as compared to 1 lakh fees of premier engineering collegs. There are various scholarships as well on merit basis as well as for SC students.

Life at the campus is great. Panjab University provides great exposure to students with various social clubs and sports clubs. Every day there is something going around campus in which we can participate. There are many student-run clubs and student-run media channels as well which provides great exposure.

Hostel rooms are great but are small in size. Hostel food is good with different dishes every day. There is one flaw, everyone doesn't get hostel rooms. There are some fixed seats and only a few students can avail hostel. Others have to live outside in pgs or private hostels. There are many pgs available at Sector-15 and there is one private hostel at Sector-25 which is quite affordable.
