Remarks

BITS is one of the known colleges in India. The best thing about this college is its name. Bits fall under the top 50 colleges for MBA in India. The college is known for its education system and so we can count MBA courses in it too. I enrolled for MBA in BITS and the admission process is through your CAT/ XAT/GMAT and Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT). You need to have a graduation degree in BTech/BE/BPharm/BArch/MCA/MSc with 60% total and Mathematics/Statistics as an obligatory subject in Class 12 with 60% total.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course educational plan is thorough, reasonably planned and really accommodating. There are 4 semesters and the curriculum plan is great. There is a financial subject that includes financial engineering and financial risk analytics. All the professors are Ph.D. holders and are committed. They are proficient and some are exceptionally qualified. Their nature of educating is generally customary, yet some provide you with a sample of ongoing news and the essence of their experience and skill in their particular fields.

Internships Opportunities

Practice School-II (PS II) is an internship program by BITS that helps students to find suitable internships for them. 150+ organizations participate in the internship drive. Most of the internships are paid it varies from organization to organization. My first internship was at Accenture in the HR department. I even got paid for my role.

Consistently, around 30% of students at BITS Pilani, get semester educational expense waivers going from 15% - 100% as one or the other merit or merit-cum-need grants worth INR 2 crore dependent on different eligibility. BITS Pilani offers two sorts of grants/scholarships, including merit grants/scholarships and fee waivers/concessions. Many students from different universities all around the country participate. There is a technical fest too which is called APOGEE and is conducted in March. The organization additionally has an immense library with lakhs of books and each significant journal is bought in. Classrooms have ac, projectors, and recording hardware. The campus also has the best sports infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostels at BITS are good. In the 1st year, you get a double room but later you can shift it to a single room if you want to. All the basic amenities are given like bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. The rooms and washrooms are all clean. The hostels are a place to stay. Also, the food is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive offering a balanced combination of theoretical and practical knowledge for learning. This curriculum helps in developing both conceptual clarity and analytical skills and prepare students well for real - world challenges as well as higher academic pursuits. This curriculum is strong and valuable. The frequency and timing of exams are generally reasonable though at times.

It is an amazing course. Helps me understand the concept very deeply the curriculum is also really good. Every teacher has their own way of teaching some can improve but it is fine we can try to study and understand by ourselves a bit. When it comes to internals its of 20 marks we have as such three of them for one sem and avg of 10 is taken from it internals are of 1hr and externals will be about 2hrs 30mins and labs of 3hrs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the biotechnology course includes all the relevant topics needed to gain information about the subject. The curriculum also includes currently developing topics of interest which may gain popularity in the future (like bioinformatics). It thoroughly prepares us for real world applications as we gain exposure to various fields of interest in the subject and get a hands-on training in the subject. Ab area i would like to suggest for improvement is to alot equal no. Of periods to different papers in the subject as each topic has its own value in the academic and career purpose. The internals are conducted every month within a duration of 1 hour for each paper. there are currently 4 internals for our batch, each of 10 marks. The externals or the end semester exams are conducted at the end of the semester approx 6 months, which are of 50 marks. 10 marks is alloted for attendance, bringing the total to 1000.
