DTU-Engineering Physcis (My experiance)

The admission process was followed by the JEE Main entrance exam after the class 12 board exam. Based on the percentile rank,we get admittted in DTU on two basis, first the Class 12th percentage (min 70% and 60% for SC/ST) from any known board from india in which i have done from CBSE new delhi itself, it was just an eligibility criteria clearence step not that the higher the percencentage the more is the chance but just you have to score 70% and above to move forward, secondly the most important thing was Jee Main and this was the thing where you need to grab as much marks as you can to get selected which only matters in the selection most. I have applied for the application on the JEE main application form on JEE Main official website and then i appeared for both the attempts since in 2019 best of two were considered. So for me in the year 2019, the key focus is to get above 95 percentile in which i got succeeded and got selected in DTU Engineering Physics branch.

I have choosen Engineering Physics from Delhi Technological University due to two reson particularly, firstly i didnt get much percentile to get computer engineering in dtu/nsit so i desperately needed a government college for better placements, so based on my percentile and rank i maxed got Engineetring Physics from DTU, secondly i have some interest in physics so i headed to choose this subject since i liked from my 10th grade. So faculty at DTU is very Co-operative and enderstanding, they mostly clear your doubts regarding the college or the subject particularly. They will try to solve your query as much they can. The no. of faculty is well enough for the entire batch. All the faculty members i got in my college years have done PHD in their feilds or have a teching experiance for at least 10 years and some have excellance in the research feild since I belong to Engineering Physics. In a semester (lets say from January to May) exams takes place after one month and are easy to handle

Internships opportunities on campus in DTU are also very impressive many companies have also freequently started visited from the 3rd year itself where you have a very good opportunity to grab internship and get PPO from the company which will eventually help you to crack placement easiy. Many companies had visited like Google,Microsoft, amazon, tata, flipkart, Qualcomm, adobe, ion trading,sprinklr , uber, goldmann sacks ,curefit, myntra and many more. All the ranges from 10K-80K per month where the enternships period were around 2-3 months.

SInce you all know Government Colleges like IIT, DTU,NSIT

The fees have been increased immensely from the past 5 years , if i would talk about myself in the 1st i gave 1,66,000/- in the 2nd year 1,99,000/- in the 3rd year 2,06,000 and in the fourth year i will give 2,19,000/- . Seeing this I wold say that they are charging way more as we take in consider the government college. The delhi government has also involved in this where they charge high fees, if we compare the fees to study, i think to some extent its all good but they need to decreased it upto 1,50,000 per year acc. to me. The faclities provide by the university is up to the mark. Talking about the scholarship there are some scholarships for the students but the ratio is very less only 20-30 get scholarships each year out of 2000 students per year. There are Merit based scholarships and others are from NSP(National Scholarship Portal) portal.

College life in DTU is what i can say is full of facilities and one can get good atmosphere whether it may be the study or fest or cultural activities. I can say its the second best after major IIT's where you will get the best experiace. There are many fest and cultural activities which take place in the mid and end year. tech fest, engi fest are the popular fest which you will experiance after getting admission here. The environment is very friendly and cheerful and very self motivated. Many facilities such as Sport Complex, gym, playground and OAT ( huge round sitting place) are also provided for the students of DTU. Library is also one the best where we get all the required feild to study for the semesters, extra knowledge or further studies like masters and phd.
