Remarks

The admission was through the GCET goa level test. The application is thought Thr Goa university as all The engineering colleges of Goa come under Goa University. The eligibility was the GCET test of the state level. If you get a rank or less than 300 then you get admission easily I got 192 Rank in the state.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as computer engineering was my field of interest. The faculty is nice there is ample faculty for students. The ratio is quite balanced. The faculty is qualified adequately. Some faculty are highly qualified. The teaching methods are satisfactory. The exams were conducted in a timely manner. The difficulty depends on how well you understand the subject. I passed quite easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship offered was by almost all the companies who came for placement. The internship was on campus and outside too. We have a 2 week internship period before 7 sem starts. It's compulsory to do an internship.

Placement Experience

3

We become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. Many companies visit. Like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IVP everyone offered roles. The highest was IVP 7.5 LPA. The average package is 3.2-3.5 LPA. I don't know the exact percentage but many of them get placed finally by the 8th semester. I have plans for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are hiked every year. The latest fee I paid was 65000 per semester. They are opportunities for the scholarship by The goa govt. The fees are to be paid in one go there is not a system for EMI. The fees are highest among all other colleges in goa.

Campus Life

3

We have annual events. We have our technical event called tachyon in September of each year and a cultural festival in January -February of each year. The library is great we have a lot of books available. The classrooms are average they are not that well equipped. We also have a sports event in March. We have E- cell, music club, sports club in our college.

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.
