Remarks

I gave JEE mains exam and I got 26409 rank in mains and then I applied for counselling and 1st I got NIT Jamshedpur and then in the 6th round, I got NIT Kkr production and industrial engineering. I am from the general category and my overall experience of college is good and placements of NIT KKR is good and I am also placed. I hope this will help you :)

Course Curriculum Overview

Here professors are really good and they are always there to help you in any situation. Some professors teach through projectors and exams are held in a timely. There are 3 exams in 1 semester, 2 mid seems of 15 marks and 1 end semester of 50 marks.

Internships Opportunities

College provides internships to students. 6th semester is the mandatory internship for students and many companies visit the campus for internships. For core, there are fewer opportunities but you can get internships in other fields like an analyst.

Placement Experience

College placements are good and one has ample opportunities to grab a good placement if we talk about CS IT branches top IT companies come to the campus and for core branches also some good companies come.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the general category student fees is around 75k per semester and for other categories fees varies accordingly. College placement is good and you have ample opportunities to grab. And college also has some workshops to train you for the job.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in college. You can join clubs as per your interest. There are literary clubs, sports clubs, dance clubs etc. You can join any club. There are technical societies also you can join according to your branch.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good, clean and hygienic. Rooms are spacious in 1st year you will stay with 2 roommates and from the second year, you will get a single seater room. Mess food is just OK not so bad not so good but in any college, you will get the same food.

Honest review for my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 7/10. It prepared the students with the theoritical aspects but lacked to prepare them for the practical knowledge. It can be improved by focussing more on practical examination. Each semester there were 3 exams, out of which two were sessionals and one was main exam. The exam difficulty level was moderate but the marking was strict.

Affordable B.Tech College with Decent Academics and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are decent but not extremely high like top engineering institutes. College has a placement cell that workds to connect student swith companies and prepeare them for the recruitment process. They orgarnize activities such as resume-building workshopsm aptituted training, mock interviews, soft-skills sessions to help students become more confidebt before palcements. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of B.tech program. During this time, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives and placement interviews. before that student are encouraged to complete internships and improve their technical skills so they better prepared when placement season starts. some of the companies that have visited the campus in recent years include companies from the IT and service sector such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and a few smaller software and startup companies. These companies mainly hire students for roles like software developer, system engineer, technical support engineer, and trainee engineer. the highest package offered in recent year has been around 6-8 LPA, usually offered by a good tech company or startup. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. while the package are not extremely high, they still provide a good starting point for fresh graduates entering the IT industry. In terms of placement percentage around 30-40% of students who actively participate in placements manag to get placed through campus drives. some students also prefer to apply for jobs off-campus which can sometimes lead to better oppportunities depending on their skills and projects.

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .

Remarks:

Library is being provided by the college so that students can concentrate on their studies and can even study peacefully away from noise and disturbance.All kinds of books as per the requirement of the students are also found in the library.It is also air-conditioned so that the studnets do not face any sort of problem while their studying hours.

Entrance Preview:

Admission to this college was a easy procedure.I had to go though an interview and a group discussion round.It was quite easy as i have good communication skills which was an asset for me at that point of time.
