Remarks

For the eligibility of the course, you should have passed class 12 with required cut off in PCB/PCM/PCBM. For children with PCBM 3% concession in percentage is given. You can find the application form on the official website of Delhi University. Fees for the same would be around 200.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for this course as it is new and emerging and there are alot of job opportunities available. In my class, there were around 70 students and the whole class was divided into two sections for practical classes. The education imparted is very beneficial and upto the mark. Practicals were conducted on a regular basis. Term exams for odd semester's were conducted in December and for even semester were conducted in May.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course when I joined was 27000 but then it was hiked to 32000, which I feel is unnecessary. There are other colleges offering the same course in 12-14000. There were no job opportunities, no placements, and no internships or industry visits by the college.

Campus Life

4

College life doesn't depend on the campus or fest it depends on the sort of friends and company you've. The annual fest is conducted in the month of March and is known as FERIA. The crowd is not much and there is no superstar coming. The library has all sorts of books related to the courses. I was a part of ENACTUS. It is a college society set up by our batch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Training and illustrious activities related to placements start soon from second year. So, a lot of companies from various sectors where mathematics genius is required hires us with packages worth 10 lakhs even. 5 lakhs is very median for our course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly

I chose this course because statistics is a rising field and is used everywhere . Also l had a good command on Statistics and maths in 12th standard. I believe that this course is really very relevant for today's world but could be made a bit more practical to be applied in real world situations.
