For taking admission into this course students must clear the jee mains exam with a very good rank under 20000. The admission process starts with jossa counselling and after choosing thr right course you have to lock your choice in jossa and then the other details and fees will be given to the respective Institute where you have to take admission. The admission process takes a long time so I think this time process must be reduce.

I think electrical engineering is that branch where you can make your career in software as well as core also. All the professors are very gentle and always ready to help the students. All professors have done their post PhD from well reputed institutes like IITs and nits. Their teaching style is very impressive. They used the whiteboard to teach. There are two mid sessional exams and then a final exam every semester. Papers are not too tough nor too easy.

Different companies have visited for internships such as amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo etc have visited and for sde profile, a very good stipend is given such as 60-70 thousand per month and some of the students get PPO after the internship. There will a project also if anyone is interested in doing so. A centre is open names scoe in Nit Kurukshetra in which you can work on different projects and get very new technology machine.

For campus placement students are eligible from seventh semester students. All big companies like Google, Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Hitachi, Hero, Genpact, L & T, HDFC bank, wells Fargo, urban company etc. The average salary for electrical students is 7 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 30 lakhs per annum for electrical and 1 crore for computer science. About 70-75 percent of students are placed in electrical. My plan is to do a software engineer job in a well reputed company.

The fees per semester of the Institute is 75000 for general category students and for other category the fees is less. The scholarship is given to the topper of thier branch. Fees concession is also there on the basis of annually income. In the sixth semester there must be a six weeks internship which is necessary for every sixth semester students. During the internship, many companies visited and also give ppo if they do very well.

There are two fests, one is a cultural fest named confluence and the other is technical fest Techspardha in which most of the college participate in this fest. All classrooms are well conditions. Laboratories have all equipment for doing experimentation in the lab. There is one sports Complex in which there is one basketball court, two badminton courts, one volleyball court and one for cricket. There are many clubs, some are dance, singing, management, technical all types of the club are there.

In every hostel there is one common room for watching movies, playing tennis and carrom board. Rooms are tripled seater for first year students and then single seater for the second year. Newspaper, water cooler and geyser facilities are also there in the hostel. There are mess committee members which decided the menu. The registration process for getting a hostel is during the admission process in the starting.
