Remarks

I appeared for the MHT CET exam and got admitted through the usual cap round process. After accepting the seat next procedure was to fill the application form which I got from college. Verified xerox of required documents like 12th result 10th result etc is needed to submit.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently completing a degree in mechanical engineering. Mechanical, civil, electrical were the branches I was interested in and my college has a mechanical branch so I chose mechanical. Official seats for first-year admission are 120 for mechanical. But it can be up to 160-170 in the second year as diploma students also join. I'm not quite sure about the exact number of faculty maybe around 20. The teaching methods of faculty are good. And use different means to teach like videos, ppts, etc. Sometimes class tests are conducted to track students' progress.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships under companies like RCF, Rosefield, etc. are organized by colleges. Also if students want to do internships in other companies professors encourage them. Students are encouraged to participate in various national, international competitions to develop their skills. Various seminars, expert talks are arranged by college for students.

Placement Experience

Generally, final year students are eligible for placement. Some companies also allow TE students to appear for the placement selection process. Some companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Zeus learning, jsw, etc. The average package is about 4-4.5 lac Rs. I want to go for higher education after graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

I get OBC caste benefit so the cost of study for 4 years is about 2.5-2.6 lac Rs. Some scholarships are available for financially weak students. Caste students get government-provided concession in fees. Stationary is provided by the college.

Campus Life

Icarus is the annual tech fest conducted by the college usually in the month of February, and the zodiac is the cultural fest that is usually conducted in the month of March. The College library is nice. Free wifi is available. The College library is divided into two sections normal section and reference section books from the reference section are not allowed to take home. Mechanical department classrooms are spacious and ventilated. Projectors are available in classrooms. Annual sports meet is conducted in college. Matches of games like cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, etc. are organized. Various students bodies like ASME RGIT, IIIE RGIT, ISHRAE, IEEE RGIT, etc. Actively organize various workshops, seminars, and other activities for students.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

1) I had also applied for other colleges like Thakur college and Somaiya college and I got addmission in thakur but didn't take admission as I was getting Information technology branch as a cource. Well i got my name for RGIT list in the first cap round itself but i wanted a better college like spit so i tuned rgit as plan b.
