Remarks

Styawati college of Delhi university is very good college in academics sports dance and in soo many things and its very affordable for middle income housed

Entrance Preview

There was no Entrance test at the time when i took admission in B.Com (hons) however instead of that the criteria for selecting college is totally based on merit list. Satyawati college comes under the Delhi university so Delhi university publish its merit list every year which shows how much percentage is required in 12th Standard for taking admission in DU's college. i scored 85% in 12th standard and the reason for i opted satyawati college is because my percentage falls in satyawati college and 2nd reason is it is near to north campus of Delhi university and its near to central delhi and 3rd reason is the Academics of satyawati college is very good

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There was two option of courses for me in which i had keen interest 1st Bachelor of commerce (Programme) and other is Bachelor of commerce (Honourse). I opted Honourse because it is superior and advance from progamme the progamme B.COM is basic however B.COM honourse is advance lever of commerce.

Internships Opportunities

No college does not provide any internship however students can opt internship in any organisation which can add a plus point in his/her reports.

Placement Experience

4

the college does not provide any personal placement however their is placement cell which is central placement cell which is provided by university called delhi university. Students of any college of university can participate in central placement cell and their is lot of opportunities for them

College Events

4.5

there is lots of events which is celebrated in delhi universities colleges. The Delhi university is soo popular and since satyawati college is also part of delhi university's colleges it also had soo many events. For example there are parties for freshers students is freshers party for students who is leaving college is farewell party there are soo many cultural programmes in which students can take participate their soo many camps and socities in which students are free to take admission and there is no additional cost for that there are nukkad natak performances there are special sports community facility for students who has interest in sports

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since the college is government and comes under Delhi university which very popular university the fee structure is soo much feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes their is special loan facility and scholarship facilities for those students who is best performer and for those who is reserved categary

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is soo good because campus is very large you can go anywhere is campus their is no restrictions, Their are soo many facilities available in colleges like sports ground, Canteen facility, computer lab, parking facility , auditorium and library

Hostel Facilities

4

there is no hostel facilities and mess facilities however their is canteen facilities which is very good and large in space as compare to other colleges canteen which are kind of conjusted

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors was also helpful and supportive for freshers in sharing knowledge and their experiences in the college.

Exam Structure

At the time when it took admission the exam structure was based on semester it means i had 3 year of course and there is 2 semester in 1 year so total there was 6 semester in 3 year. However the semester system was newly introduce when i took admission in satyawati college before the semester semester system there was annual system for example if i have 3 year of course the exams will be done at the end of each year and it means 3 times in 3 year however in semester system the exams is done 6 times in 3 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
