It is the best college in this region so no questionson curriculum or faculty it s under panjab university, chandigarh wonderful college of this region.

No internship required in B.Com but i wana to suggest that it must be in every course so that each one get the value of his study, which he had done in past.

Placement Experience

There is a placemnet cell, whichis working very good but industry wants experiance or sharp candidates so there must be some extra subject to inhance the inner growth of each one.

College Events

No comparison for the events orgnaised by our college in this area good crowd wity wonderfull host and artist everytime great annual fuction and sports meet.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its ok as fee is nominal and admmision is purely on merit base its under punjab university its annually in our college but in somecourse it is in semsetse wise i would suggest semester wise only.

Hostel Facilities

No comparison for the hostels of our college in this area good crowd wity wonderful food in canteen and in mess good rooms with airy and cleanilness.

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Punjab university offers admission to those students those have good grades in class 12th. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
