Remarks

I applied to other many colleges and I didn't wait for the allotment, before that I joined Adi Sankara Institution of Engineering and Technology, Kalady in management quota. The admission criteria for my course in this institution were quite simple. While I took admission there, I just needed a 50 perc mark in the 12th board examination and should pass the KEAM entrance examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some of my close ones were CSE Engineers and used to describe me about this course. I was very fascinated to hear from him. Here is how I have developed an interest in CSE. I don't know what was the qualifications of our faculty, but their teaching and the methods they used were fine and useful. There'll be 2 term exams during a semester other than the semester examination and it is not much tougher to get passed.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements. Above 75 percentage of students are placed in placements. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, WIPRO etc. Almost 25 percentage of students got internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study may vary from student to student based on their scholarships and quotas. Many of them got admissions through management quota and NRI quota and many of the seats were reserved for them. The academic scholarships and community service scholarships were provided by the institution.

Campus Life

Bhrama is the biggest fest which is conducted annually in this institution. Almost all the books and journals were available in the library. The campus has sports and extracurricular activities. Social groups and clubs like environment, energy, quizzes, sports are there on the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

An Emerging student rising from a million opportunity

I applied to MITS, Fisat, and Rajagiri and Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. These were the top 3 collages in my area in the field of CSE. I only got confirmation from Adi Shankara Institute of engineering and technology. Yes i did get rejection from other collages due to my low keam scores. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
